August 15, 200719 yr I searched the crap out of this topic and couldn't find anything. How do i receive marlins games in Orlando on TV? MLB.TV is blacked out. Im moving up there this week and am in dire straights.
August 15, 200719 yr The way to get past MLB.TV blackout (Note, I used this last year, I'm not sure if it still works this year. I think it will though. From watching free things via MLB.TV's player, nothing seems to have changed): The first way is to click on the game before the game even starts (Make sure you're already logged in). You'll want about 5-10 minutes of buffer to make sure you don't get blacked out, and the eariliest you can do it is about 20-30 minutes before the game. Then just do something else until the game starts, and come back and enjoy. Make SURE that it actually processed though. If you're stuck on a black screen, that means it didn't process (althogh do make sure to wait a few seconds because it does need buffer time). Once the blue "MLB Blog" screen comes up, that's when you know it's on (Note: It was MLB BLOG screen last year, not sure what the screen is this year). The second way I have found, you'll need a tabbed browser for it to work. I personally use Crazy Browser, although I'm sure others will work. Again, make sure you are logged in before you click on the game that's blacked out. Then click on the game, you'll get to the white "This game is blacked out in your area" screen, then just simply hit the back button. The reason you need a tabbed browser for the second way is that you can't hit the back button on a normal explorer since it's a pop up (Backspace doesn't work either). A tabbed browser treats those pop ups like any other site, so you have full domain over it.

I haven't tried the other method yet though.
August 15, 200719 yr You have to go with Dish Network or DirecTV, cable's not an option, nor is Extra innings. You can try that thing on MLB TV I don't know if it works though, I've never heard of it before now. But I'm just hoping BHN picks up FSN since the magic are moving almost half their games on their. I can't imagine them not without losing tons of customers.

August 15, 200719 yr You can get Dish Network or DirecTV. Bright House Networks has been "negotiating" with FSN Florida since 1997 to no avail. The Magic have moved 35 games to FSN Florida...but even that isn't assuring BHN will carry FSN.
