Posted October 4, 200717 yr Should be a good game tonight ladies and gents. South Carolina and Kentucky. Let's see if Woodson can keep this Heisman campaign up. In other news, another Gator gets arrested. I think that makes 9 players in 8 months, which is pretty good, because I don't think FSU or Miami has ever put up numbers like that. Bravo.
October 4, 200717 yr Spurrier is 16-0 vs Kentucky in his career... but me thinks he has never faced a Wildcat team this good
October 5, 200717 yr Spurrier needs to further cement his football God status by dropping another, "It wasn't like they were some big, powerful team" quote after the game.
October 6, 200717 yr This year's Mascot Open commercials suck. And next year they need to include Rocky and Knightro. Miami (4-1) is facing UNC (1-4). They can finally get into the polls with a good showing and a few upsets in the lower half of the Top 25. UCF (3-1) needs to make a statement against East Carolina (2-3). #6 USF (4-0) should not take FAU (3-2) lightly, or they'll find themselves off the polls quicker than they rose to the Top 10. I don't think it's a stretch to imagine, next week, seeing a top-5 USF team face a ranked UCF team.
October 6, 200717 yr I think the most likely upset this weekend is Purdue vs. Ohio State. (That's exclusive of South Carolina beating Kentucky.)
October 6, 200717 yr Mark it down, UCF will not be ranked next week. No matter what happens. Yup, they can win by 80 if they want. UCF will never be ranked this year.
October 6, 200717 yr Is there anything worse in life than female Sports broadcasters? Ugh. I can't enjoy the Miami game without the volume down. Does that make me sexist? Probably, but I still can't stand it.
October 6, 200717 yr UF has one key advantage over Glen Dorsey tonight, they don't get pumped before a game by listening to Phil Collins.
October 6, 200717 yr UF has one key advantage over Glen Dorsey tonight, they don't get pumped before a game by listening to Phil Collins. Glenn Dorsey too? :lol what's the story behind that? I know Ray Lewis gets pumped before games by listening to Phil Collins also. BTW: Rashard Mendenhall is good. Really good.
October 6, 200717 yr That roughing the QB call against Calais Campbell is the first time I've ever seen that call made when the QB has gone untouched. I'm still scratching my head on that one.

I know Ray Lewis gets pumped before games by listening to Phil Collins also. BTW: Rashard Mendenhall is good. Really good. Not too much of a story, but there was an article about it in the UF school newspaper. Apparently he listens to "In the Air Tonight" before every game, and he said "It gets me pumped up because I can feel it coming in the air tonight," which is one of the least threatening things a defensive player can possibly say.
