All these adamant opinions/stances/predictions after they lose. I know it is different for me because Coach Leavitt is a family friend, but I don't know how people can hate on the Bulls. It was/is a great story. Those who think that program is going away are absolute clowns.

 

Florida Fan is starting to annoy me a bit. I like Florida a lot, it is Spurrier's stomping grounds. I have a ton of respect for what that school has done. But newsflash to their fans, you have two losses so far this season. Two. I don't care if those came to '95 Nebraska or '72 USC. They are still two and even though you guys are champs, that will be coming to an end.

 

You're not as good as you think you are and you definitely aren't good enough to prance around and take shots at teams like no tomorrow.

Florida fans at least think we're good and our team has done something. Meanwhile, a lot USF fans suddenly think they're the best team in the state, but I guess what else can you expect from people who aren't even smart enough to get into the University of Central Florida.

 

UCF has the most overrated academics in the state. I'd say they may rank 5th or 6th. Nobody gave a sh*t about UCF until like 2005 when all of a sudden it became hard to get into. Guess what, it's easy to get into again.

What does prestige have to do with anything. USF is not a bad academic school, and UCF is not a great one. Fact of the matter is they are all in that 2nd tier of Florida schools.

 

(And if we're talking academically and nothing else, the best public school in Florida doesn't have a football team.)

I don't hate USF's team. I just hate how their "fans" had become so arrogant and cocky after half a season of good play.

 

Also, we know we aren't as good as our potential yet. This is a rebuilding year. We have inexperienced players. We didn't expect to win a national championship. We expected a few losses. But the fact that both of those losses came down to the wire speaks volumes, considering how young a team this is. And we still have a shot to win the SEC.

 

Reminding me that the Gators have two losses doesn't hurt my feelings. The future is very bright.

 

Most of USF's young talent are also underclassmen, see: George Selvie... you may have heard of him?

 

I love how the Gators, Seminoles fans are threatened by USF....in 10 years they've achieved a lot and somehow your threatened?

I don't think threatened is the right word. Taken by surprise yes. For the last 30+ years it's been all about FSU, UF, and UM in the state and then all of a sudden, outta nowhere, USF is #2 in the nation and getting all the media love that no one would have ever imagined. Especially fans of the Big 3 schools. I for one, like that USF is having success, but they still have a long way to go to even be compared to FSU, UF or UM. And furthermore, I'd be surprised to see any big time recruits turn down offers from the Big 3 to go to USF, but Levitt has done a good job of finding that talent that FSU, UM, and UF don't want and turning them into playmakers.

 

Outta nowhere and by having the 12th*** strongest schedule in the nation and winning every game up to this point...

I dont know why the other 3 Florida schools even try. Its not like theyve ever won anything worthwhile. They should just let their players commit whatever crime they want because theyll never be able to catch up with mighty USF

It's nothing personal to their fans but the constant bitching of canes, seminoles and gators fans about USF is petty. heaven forbid one of their schools takes a back seat to anyone.

Like I said genius, schedules are made at least 5 years in advance. Can FSU control the fact that Colorado happens to suck this year? I'm sure you'll still be trolling around years from now when we play at BYU, at Oklahoma, at Air Force, at West Virginia in consecutive years. Or maybe you missed it years past when we played at Notre Dame, at USC, at Louisville.

 

I'm pretty sure if you look the past 10-20 years, FSU has ALWAYS finished in the top 25 as far as strength of scheduling is concerned. Go ahead, look it up.
