Dolphins quarterback Trent Green said Monday during a radio interview that if the results of the neurological tests regarding his Grade 3 concussion continue to be, "normal,'' that he intends to play football again this season.

 

"At this point I've passed all the tests. I think if there was clear-cut evidence that there was potential for recurring problems or potential for problems down the road it would make it a real easy decision for me,'' Green said. "But what's making it so difficult for me is everything has tested up normal at this point.

 

"There's nothing to say that I can't come back and play. Now it's a matter of the team and I discussing what needs to be done in the future. Right now my mind-set is to come back and play, but like I said I still have two more tests to go through and we'll see how they go.'''

If I were the dolphins I wouldnt let him play. I think if Green plays in 8 games the dolphins pick gets upgraded.

Yeah, thats it. Yet another reason that playing Green would not make sense for the Dolphins.

I'm serious about not watching games he plays in. It doesn't feel right. I'm not gonna wait around for this guy to destroy the rest of his life so he can suit up for an 0-9 team or whatever. I mean, if its a home game, and I'm at the stadium, I guess I have no choice...but on TV, I'll find something else to watch.

Dolphins placed Trent Green on IR meaning he's out for the season. Best thing the Phins have done all year.
