October 29, 200718 yr I think you need to know mileage on all the cars before you even begin to think about it

I'd say the Integra, but that depends on mileage, work needed, etc. Test driving is the only reliable way to know for sure what you're getting.

October 29, 200718 yr If you can buy anything for under $1k and it runs for a year or so, you're doing great. I'd just pick whatever had AC and maybe if I'm lucky, a CD player.
October 29, 200718 yr My dad got a Pontiac Bonneville gave to him 2 and a half years ago and we've rode it ever since. Never had a problem out of it.It's a 250k+ and the 3800 series II motor is still running strong. AC still works too. I'd go with the Caprice or the LeSabre. With the way gas is going I would strongly consider the Integra.
October 29, 200718 yr I'd do this one:1988 Ford Taurus - $800 - ac, radio, power windows and doors Those cars seemingly have few problems and I still see a ton on the roads. Plus, the parts shouldn't be too hard to find since they were the best selling cars in the US at the time.
October 29, 200718 yr I wouldn't even buy a fart on craigslist. ...what? People buy farts? You buy farts?
October 30, 200718 yr In all seriousness, you can get a scooter that'll go about 45 MPH with 900 bucks. And if you finance, you can get a 150 or higher that'll go fast enough to safely drive on any road
October 30, 200718 yr Buying something on Craig's List is a smart idea if you are looking to get murdered or brutally raped.
