Sean West update

Featured Replies

I don't remember where I saw it, but someone asked if Sean will be ready to go in Jupiter in April

Spoke to him about 30 minutes ago. Says rehab is going great, he's up to 100% healthy and is ready to go

so that's awesome news

Yes, I asked you in that ST thread... so thanks a ton for getting that information.

Jupiter/Carolina year for him hopefully.

That is awesome news on West. I hope he is not being overly optimistic. There is a reason he is still ranked so high despite a serious arm injury. I'm really excited about eventually seeing this kid in teal. I just pray he stays healthy from here on out.

He said physically he is more than ready, but it's mentally that's going to be tough as he really hasn't pitched in a game situation in a year

that and being separated from Volstad, Thompson, Marceaux and Tucker for the first time is certainly going to be weird for him

Awe he has friends!

He can buddy up with Taylor, Winters, and Correa and be the gem of Single A.

Was he Tommy John or torn labrum?

And are either easier/harder to come back from?

Great info Ramp.

i think its more common for pitchers to come back from TJ surgey then a torn labrum

great info like always ramp

it was torn labrum... I'd say it's harder to come back from, but both take alot of rehab

Speaking of torn labrums, do you have any idea if we will we ever see Travis Bowyer again?

I'd love to see Bump donning an Isotopes uniform for old times sake. As far as Bowyer goes, it would be a shame if he really was completely done.
