October 24, 200323 yr In the event we actually pull this off, I can't think of anything that could happen between now and then, that would prevent Penny from being the World Series MVP...pretty impressive, huh?
October 24, 200323 yr yea i agree. i mean hes pitched against wut many say are the best players money can buy and hes shutting them out. hes doing an incredible job. hes 2-0 already hes come a long way from the NLDS/CS
October 24, 200323 yr let's not get ahead of ourselves. but Duke has really stepped up. After just tanking his first two starts against the Giants & Cubs, he has really shown what he can do against the Yanks. Way to go Brad.
October 24, 200323 yr Author He's 3rd on the team in RBIs too, with 2. Only Cabrera and Pierre have more with 3 apiece. Of course, this only matters if we win one of these next two. But a man can't help but think...
October 24, 200323 yr I wouldn't mind seeing him win the MVP award. He has been really impressive. I am not just saying this because Brad is my #1 Marlin. I am saying it because he has done well and he's led the team to Game 6 now. I hope we can win it all in NY on Saturday. :marlins

I dont think he will get it but he does deserve some kind of credit with the way he pitched in the 2 games this World Series. Cabs will get it. He has hit very good.....
October 24, 200323 yr Brad MVP? I dont think he will get it but he does deserve some kind of credit with the way he pitched in the 2 games this World Series. Cabs will get it. He has hit very good..... Cabs is hitting .188 in this series. If anyone gets it for their bat (as of now) it's Niner, he's hitting .429. It's gotta be Penny. But that's getting WAY ahead of ourselves.
October 24, 200323 yr Author Brad MVP? I dont think he will get it but he does deserve some kind of credit with the way he pitched in the 2 games this World Series. Cabs will get it. He has hit very good..... Once I again, I preface by saying we shouldn't be getting ahead of ourselves... But Cabs? He's hitting .200. He's had some big hits. But I don't think anyone has ever won an MVP award in anything while straddling the Mendoza line. Simply put, none of the hitters even have a shot at this thing. If it isn't Penny, it's Pavano. That's pretty much it. Let's just hope it's not Jeter.
