No. Josh Beckett---he was awesome while going 1-1, although the loss was a tough-lucker, but Penny was just as outstanding while picking up 2 wins, and Alex Gonzazlez was on fire games 4-6. Don't get me wrong... THIS WAS AN AWESOME DEAFEAT OF THE YANKEES! WE--ARE--WORLD--CHAMPIONS!
October 26, 200322 yr It's great to see Alex end the year on a high note. Despite his second half slump, he has become a better player attitude wise, and has not let his emotions affect his defense. Most people said they would be happy if he hit .250 and had good defense. Mission accomplished.

October 26, 200322 yr UNREAL!!! Sotrybook ending for a storybook team. This one certainly feels better than 97. Gonzalez showed what he's capable when he's confident in himself. game winning HR in game 4, 2-4 with 2 RBI in game 5 and 2-3 in game 6 scoring the game winning run. No way in hell should he be dumped. He's inconsistent but he's a good player and proved all the doubters wrong. Penny won't get half the pub that Beckett will, but he's matured just as much since getting rocked vs the Cubs. Unreal game 1, unreal game 5. He's got sick stuff and finally learning how to use it. anyway...what can I say? This team deserved it and they got it. God bless you Marlins!
