March 29, 200818 yr He retired because he wants to spend time with his family, I believe. I think he has also said he does not want a coaching position for the time being for the very same reasons. It's just a big time commitment and a strain on the family.
March 29, 200818 yr By mid season, he will start missing baseball, and after Freddi gets fired, he should step in
March 29, 200818 yr Didn't know Freddi was a lock to be fired. :confused Ive never liked him. Its like Jacques Martin right now, Erick

Its like Jacques Martin right now, Erick That's probably a fair comparison, although Jacques has a couple more years with the organization than Freddi has had with the Marlins. And to be fair, Freddi didn't exactly have it easy last year with all the injuries. People go "goo-goo-gaa" over Girardi and his 78-84 record in '06, yet Freddi had a grand total of 7 less wins, despite the fact Josh Johnson and Anibal Sanchez, and basically Ricky Nolasco were all out for the year. I mean, sometimes, you can only blame a manager/coach for so much. It wasn't exactly the prettiest situation.

You do anything less and youre a failure. Its JMIMI by the way
