April 12, 200818 yr A source told the Tampa Tribune that Evan Longoria is on his way to Florida to join the Rays. Willy Aybar almost surely will go on the disabled list to make room for Longoria on Saturday. Expect Longoria to be an everyday player for as long as he's in the majors. At .200/.333/.200 in 25 at-bats, he wasn't exactly off to a great start for Triple-A Durham, so mixed leaguers probably won't want him active initially. He should be worth using in AL-only leagues right away. ---RotoWorld.com
April 12, 200818 yr So much for holding him back to stop his arbitration clock... but with an injury it seems necessary anyways.
April 12, 200818 yr Hes on my fantasy team, but Mark Reynolds is tearing it up, who would you guys start? Longoria or Reynolds?

April 13, 200818 yr Longoria in his debut, 1 for 3 with a single, an RBI, and a walk. Not too shabby.
