Hammerhead
Does anyone else think we should push his next start back so that he can match up against Jake Peavy on Saturday? Either that or let him go on three days' rest?
EricWiener
I wouldn't mess with it at all.
CyggyMarlin
I would be more concerned about being able to score runs off of Peavy than who is matched up against him.
miamibaseball
Scott Olsen should be starter but it look like mike will be starter for sometime
Rabbethan
Scott Olsen should be starter but it look like mike will be starter for sometime I think you mean ace. And he has been the #1 guy since they he started. They put him 4 so that it would be Olsen-Hendrickson-VandenHurk-Miller.  It then became Olsen-Hendrickson-Nolasco-Miller-Badenhop.  Now, it is Olsen-Badenhop-Hendrickson-Nolasco-Miller, since Fredi wanted to split up the lefties. Have you actually thought that Olsen was the #5 guy this whole time? Y08Marlin
yeah, it was just because he was hurt. They are changing it to split up the two rookies and save the bullpen.
Hammerhead
I would be more concerned about being able to score runs off of Peavy than who is matched up against him. Law of averages says Peavy isn't going to give up much. If that is the case, Olsen has a much better chance of keeping his team in the game than Nolasco does. Plus that's the kind of matchup that would draw a good crowd. Not that it's Fredi's job to fill seats. Just sayin'.
legacyofCangelosi
Well nolasco hasn't been that bad in his last 2 starts, he just can't pitch more than 5 innings.

Just sayin'. You honestly believe that a pitching matchup between Olsen-Peavy would draw a good crowd? Unless it is the elitist of the elite and one of the pitchers is going for a record or something, pitching match ups are not what draws crowds in South Florida.  Maybe draw an extra 50 people or something if Olsen is pitching compared to anyone else. If a matchup between a first place team's ace and one of the best pitchers in baseball plus the Hanley factor doesn't draw at least an extra 1,000, baseball shouldn't exist here.
