I would be shocked if Pudge left, even more so than when he signed. That means Castro may get traded. Redmond may be gone unless he takes a cut. And that is where a World Series title comes into play. Guys will opt for winning over money - at least those guys you want to have around. A lot of these guys will take pay cuts to keep this team, this family, together. Watch it happen...

October 26, 200323 yr Pudge will stay because Castro's future is in doubt right now. He has to face trial in Pittsburgh. Redmond will have to be kept as well because you need the backup if Castro is incarcerated for trial. You can't have a minor-leaguer as a backup in catcher. None of our catching prospects are far along enough to use yet.
