May 23, 200818 yr NY Times: McCain to Meet 3 Possible Running Mates The three: Mitt Romney, 61, former Governor of Massachusetts, former Presidential Candidate Charlie Crist, 51, current Governor of Florida (oh GOD no!) Piyush "Bobby" Jindal, 36, current Governor of Louisiana I could go for McCain-Romney, which seems most likely, but I'm pulling for the summer-late fall ticket of McCain-Jindal. If he chooses Crist, I'm waiting for the Libertarian convention. If it's not Wayne Allyn Root, then I'm voting for Obama. :mischief
May 23, 200818 yr I think McCain will win florida with or without Crist , as much as I dont care for Romney it might make sense to pick him because his ties to Michigan might put the state in play and he may help mccain financially with fund raising . If I was Jindal I would continue to be gov of LA and run for President after my second term by that point Obama will be finished his second term and by that point the American public will be ready for change after 8 years of one party rule.
May 23, 200818 yr Yea, it would be a mistake for Jindal to run with McCain. He needs to run for president on his own, using a similar campaign tactic of "I am the candidate of change and a Washington outsider blah blah" that Obama has used so well. If he runs with McCain people will somehow see him as an extension of Bush.
May 23, 200818 yr I'm sure that they will go with Jindal to confuse the public into thinking that the GOP isn't just a bunch of white guys.
May 24, 200818 yr I hope it's Romney so I can hear more of his bulls***. at this stage of the game they are all full sh?t

May 27, 200818 yr Romney's pandering is not much worse than that of Rudy, Clinton, or Obama but that pretty boy image of his is what makes him very unlikeable. I guess you haven't seen his 'who let the dogs out' video... :lol
May 27, 200818 yr and Clinton and Obama countlessly exploiting the 'fainters' (planted? you decide), which is the most disgusting act of pandering I've seen this election season. Not sure what you're referring to, I don't recall seeing that.
May 27, 200818 yr That's so weird, I haven't heard of that happening at all. I hope it isn't planted, that's just wrong. However, Rudy's exploitation of 9/11 victims and their families for his political gain was a lot worse.
