May 25, 200818 yr They won the regular season, and then went to Jacksonville and won the ACC Tournament with an 8-4 win over Virginia to claim their 1st ACC Title in a major sport since joining the ACC in 2005. Congrats boys, you deserve it. Now on to Omaha, and the Regional this week. Hopefully with the # 1 National Seed. Let the NCAA playoffs begin !

They should be no doubt that the Canes should be seeded as the #1 team in NCAA baseball...They are having an outstanding season...Pitching, hitting, defense, power. They have it all! A high powered well-balanced team
May 26, 200818 yr This is the strongest Canes team I have seen since following college baseball (02 season pretty much). Their relief pitching is the only thing that can stop them from winning the whole thing. That Georgia Tech game in the tourney showed how weak they can be if their relievers aren't on their game, other than that, they are solid from top to bottom in the lineup and they play great defense.
