June 4, 200818 yr http://www.sun-sentinel.com/sports/basebal...,0,829438.story That was after Monday's loss... Then again, Gregg did get a save today, and I believe Rabelo was back there, so I'm not sure if it's an issue. Personally, I would be a bit mad at Gregg if I was Rabelo. After knowing you did something wrong, I'm sure you don't want a TEAMmate, repeating it for you, through the media.
June 4, 200818 yr meh...i think people are reading too much into things after a long and frustrating road trip
June 4, 200818 yr it seems as if Rabelo wasn't acting on Hoover's presence. He was trying to gain back the game he "lost" the other night.
June 5, 200818 yr Author Why would Gregg care? I'm pretty sure he doesn't...just sayin'... It would've been nice if he added his 2 walks into the mix, b/c his teammates weren't at fault for that. I personally just dislike it when teammates blame teammates (publicly), although, it's 25 guys...and I know not all 25 will have a great warm and fuzzy relationship with each other.
June 5, 200818 yr Why would Gregg care? He cared.. unless you think the Sun-Sentinel writer made it up.
June 5, 200818 yr Why would Gregg care? He cared.. unless you think the Sun-Sentinel writer made it up. I'm going with the 2nd one. And I meant more today. Sure he cared that it happened, but there guys are professionals and teammates. I guarantee he didn't care by the time he got out there tonight.
June 5, 200818 yr Why would Gregg care? He cares because he doesn't chew, he doesn't dip, and he doesn't smoke.
June 5, 200818 yr The Herald also had Gregg's comments about Rabelo along with his mention of Cantu not turning the double play. I don't think it's an issue and I'm sure it's been settled but I'm of the opinion that you don't publicly make those types of comments and I'm surprised he did. I'm sure he wouldn't like it if the situations were reversed.
June 5, 200818 yr Why would Gregg care? He cares because he doesn't chew, he doesn't dip, and he doesn't smoke. That look that he wears on his face 24/7 suggests that he does all of that. :mischief
June 5, 200818 yr We need peace and love in the clubhouse...that's how team chemistry builds....but yea Gregg still sucks
June 6, 200818 yr Chemistry thing is a little overated, just saw Manny Ramirez and Kevin Youkillis had to be seperated in the dugout after some finger pointing, team still win their eighth straight game at home,
