July 4, 200817 yr I was wondering can a team fine someone for doing something wrong like errors, walks, etc? If so, we should fine players who walk the first batter of an inning.
July 4, 200817 yr Gregg isn't walking people because he WANTS to....he does it because he has no control of his pitches. I'm not saying that makes it any better, but its not going to stop simply because you "punish" him in some manner.

July 4, 200817 yr Gregg's problem is that he can't see. He is wearing old prescription glasses because he doesn't feel comfortable in his new glasses. I honestly don't care how comfortable he is. IF YOU CAN'T SEE YOU CAN'T THROW STRIKES! Maybe we should put a pitcher without vision problems in the closer's role.
July 4, 200817 yr They could do something totally unofficial, sort of like the "Kangaroo Court" that goes on in most Major League locker rooms....maybe not fines of $$, but something else perhaps.
