Prince Fielder?

Featured Replies

Hanley only got that contract to make him easier to trade(and he will be...if not this offseason then next offseason), as its relative cheapness included alot of teams that would of been excluded had he not gotten it.

When will people stop saying this?

The last time it was said was b/c Mungo thought he would get traded by the deadline...and he wasn't.

It would make NO sense to trade Hanley Ramirez. ZERO.

Trade speculation aside, I hope the Brewers don't fold down the stretch and let the Phils take the wildcard.

They won't have to, they'll take the division.

Cubs collapse, Rab?

Phillies, I meant. The Phils won't have to settle for the wild card because they'll win the division.

Wait what have the Brewers done in the past 25+ years to make you guys think that they can make up 5 games in September? Their mindset is probably more "don't blow the wildcard" than it is "let's catch the Cubs".

Edit: NM if you meant Phils catching the Mets....

Not that I was predicting it, but it isn't a crazy thought at all. What have the Cubs done in the last 100 years that makes you think they are going to stop this collapse?

I guess. I'm not saying that the Cubs won't fold in the playoffs, but at least they've shown that they can make it that far.
