November 1, 200322 yr Just thought I would introduce myself to this board. I'm an A's fan, originally from Florida, who experienced a great amount of joy watching the Marlins win it all. Something about a small payroll team, loaded with young and exciting talent, beating the crap out of the Yankees...and pretty much any other team that was in its way...well, that's just a really cool story. Well, hope to have some good discussions here.

November 2, 200322 yr How often have you been to Zebulon? Five county stadium is a great facility. So is the Durham bulls park. It would be great if we could get a MLB team around this area.

Marlinsfan04, that's great that you are so close to the Mudcats. I used to live 15 minutes away from where the Marlins' old AA was - the Portland Sea Dogs - who are now a Red Sox affiliate. That's why I no longer have season tickets.
