Im not sure but I think utley will be recovering from hip surgery still when the classic starts, think theres a chance uggla gets his spot? The only other guy i can think of is Kinsler from TEX.

Exactly. Just like how DR is sure to have multiple starting caliber SS, Team USA will probably have a few 2B.

I read somewhere about a week ago that Uggla said he would be ecstatic to play if anyone were to call him. He also kind of hinted that he would be kind of insulted not to be asked if Utley were unavailable...

He might be reluctant to join the team after his All-Star fiasco.
