Not for the Yankees, against the Marlins. I still have respect for the ballplayer but I can't really say I have the respect for man that I did before Cliffie blabbed the story about watching the WS at CJ's house and the two of them rooting against us. It isn't hate or really even lack of respect, if I think about it, it's probably more disappointment than anything else.

It isn't hate or really even lack of respect, if I think about it, it's probably more disappointment than anything else. Both players were upset about being traded away from us. Extremely so. And actually, CJ was given a pretty hard time here by the fans in his second stint. Seems everyone thought he could duplicate the AL offensive numbers he put up the year before, and when he didn't they turned on him. Some residual evidence of that right here on this thread. Truth is, he pretty much hit for his career numbers that first year back. But you have a point. I expected that kind of remark from Floyd. CJ did disappoint me. It was probably more hurt on his part than anything else. Not sure what he is doing lately. His wife had a store of some sort in Dade or Broward. He more or less was helping her out there. (Anyone else remember her doing the National Anthem a couple times? Great voice.) His dad had some legal issues this past year. But I think that was more someone looking for a pay day rather than truthfulness.
