Updated: Ted Kennedy falls ill at inaugural luncheon

Featured Replies

Ted Kennedy? Oh darn.

That's not a dignified way to react. He has brain cancer and had a seizure in the middle of the luncheon. And the President responded immediately.

I'm certainly not happy he's dying, but he deserves every bit of pain and agony he endures.

Unfortunately Ted is on borrowed time. Some didn't think he would make it this long.

However, the last I heard he is responsive in the hospital.

Have you no soul? To say an innocent person deserves pain and agony simply because you may not have agreed with him as a politician is beyond pathetic. You give humanity a bad name

Yah, not like he killed a woman and got away with it because of his last name.

Only because of his name.. Kennedy in RI/MA/NY gets you way to far. It is almost annoying to live in these places and see what that name can do for you.

The "Chappaquiddick incident" refers to the death of Mary Jo Kopechne, a former campaign worker for the assassinated U.S. Senator Robert F. Kennedy of New York.

In July 1969, Kopechne's dead body was discovered inside an overturned car belonging to Senator Edward "Ted" Kennedy of Massachusetts under water in a tidal channel on Chappaquiddick Island, Massachusetts.

The incident became a national scandal, and may have affected the Senator's decision not to run for President in 1972.

Also from Massachusetts you got the great Barney Frank the child molester.
