I wouldn't blame Pudge though as this is his last hurrah...he's just a playa trying to make that last buck before he gets out of the game. That picture of those kids laughing at the downed UM player is hilarious.

The point is that leaders can come from other positions and leadership is not exclusive to the catcher position. I do agree that its the most important on the field though.

This is why Pudge needs more money. Its not like he struggles to feed his kids which many people all over OUR country and others struggle to do.

Meanwhile you can get the power he supplys from first base or the outfield. And the best part is, Pudge does everything. Best catcher of our generation period. Why does this board hate him so?
