April 27, 200917 yr So what happens with him? I really don't want the fifth starter spot to turn into a revolving door but it looks like that's whats going to happen with RVH due back and three long relievers in the pen. Do you give him another start or go to Badenhop?

And after he struggled so much, I don't know if it's the right move. He completely threw the book on himself which says he doesn't walk a lot out the window. With so many other candidates deserving of a shot, it just doesn't seem right, first start or not.

April 27, 200917 yr I would give him one more start. If he isn't more calm, then he is demoted or moved to the pen. If Miller is ready, and the Marlins are confidant (I am not, but I am not an expert) he is ready to pitch well, then slide him back in. If Miller remains injured or is sent to the minors, then yes, the 5th spot will become a revolving door. But hopefully someone like Hopper can push through that door and stop it revolving.

April 28, 200917 yr I didn't know where else to put this and I didn't think it deserved its own thread but for those who thought the Fish really screwed up when they DFA'd Frankie De La Cruz...the Padres just DFA'd him too. So maybe it's time for you all to start a write-in campaign to Beinfest and company... :brigginbounce

I'm still not really convinced that our bullpen is any better than we thought it would be then.
