June 11, 200917 yr Johan Santana is my ace. I forgot we had him, sucks that we traded him without knowing how good he was going to be. We never really had him. It was a Rule V day trade. We wanted Jared Camp. Every one wanted Camp after his performance in the Arizona Fall League (or was it the Maryland or Hawaiian League at that time???). Twins had the first pick and knew this. They picked Camp and auctioned him off for Santana (who was the next best available prospect in that year's Rule V draft) and some coin. It was a Chris Webber - Penny Hardaway situation except of course that the #2 ended up being the better player in the end.
