June 12, 200917 yr our bullpen showing that over use so we could see more of this it could happen doing road trip we playing tough team on road tor and boston
June 12, 200917 yr Cody Ross misplaying that ball changed the momentum and pretty much cost us the game. Another strong outing by Andrew Miller and another 2 Hit Game for Hermida, Gload also had a nice day at the plate with the 2 Long balls. Great Start but horrible ending in the game and we lose the series. I totally agree. I can't see why others think that had he not made that error those 3 runs would have scored anyways. Other than he is a fan fav and therefore can't possibly be blamed. That blooper let 2 runs score and put the go ahead run at 3rd, and yet the blame goes to Nunez? He had an off day to get started, but his defense let him down big time.

But Nunez still let five of the 6 batters he face reach base, including 4 hits and a walk, I believe. So, yes, those runs may have scored anyways. But of course you never know, and you can't evaluate what these doing to a pitcher's psyche in the moment.
June 12, 200917 yr Both Nunez and Ross deserve blame but that error was a killer and changed the whole inning. It turned a bases loaded situation into a runner on first with 3 runs in.
June 12, 200917 yr Cody Ross ranks 58th out of 68 in UZR among qualified outfielders this year. I know Cody gets praise for his defense, but he has been bad. In RF. He's still been good in CF. UZR/150 disagrees with you. Among CFers with 200+ innings he's ranked 32nd out of 36. +/- has him at 0. And is the best way to judge outfielders.
