Is there a difference between...

I think there is...

I mean love is love..

However, the way you put it I interpreted loving as something you love whether it be family, hobby, etc... IN LOVE is hard to explain but its just a different feeling. Being IN LOVE is a type of obsession in way, pretty hard to explain...

Either way Love is pretty crazy... Its a great thing IMO although theres been some rough times, but hey what can you do. You live and you learn right?

Family excluded, btw. ;)

And, for some reason my female friends always thought they are different, but most guys I asked would tell me that it's the same thing.

Probably, hah. But, I would have to agree that it isn't the same thing.

Maybe your guy friends just don't give it a lot of thought. Loving someone can be one sided. Being in love, as I said, implies mutuality. It's pretty cut and dry if you ask me.

Im down with the minority.... :lol Its just a different type of feeling, some people never get that feeling...

I guess it can be different as seen by the following example:

I love Hanley, but I sure as hell ain't in love with Hanley

Or

I love baseball so i bought the MLB network for direct T.V.

Then

I love my fiance/girlfriend/wife so much i hope we can be together forever.

Love = Kissing, Sex

In Love = Kissing, Sex, Til Death Do Us Part, Divorce, Make Up Sex, The wife stealing 50% of what the man owns, death.

Darn, everything I've ever known is wrong.
