July 13, 200917 yr F*CK YEA! It went beyond my expectations. After yesterday, UFC will rise to be a great sport. Lesnar defeating Mir was great. I loved that match. GSP proving all the doubters wrong was great. And Henderson shutting up Bisping was sweet. I can't wait for UFC 101. My boy Silva goes against Griffin.

Yeah i agree with everything you said except for the part about Lesnar. I have no problem that he won because i expected it, just the post fight comments were ridiculous I mean i know that is the image he wants portrayed of himself but this is the UFC not WWE. I love Anderson Silva too

You fight until the refs steps in. More popular fighters do worse regularly and more than just one punch. If anyone's at fault (and I don't think they are) it's Mario Yamasaki for being out of position and making a slow stoppage.
July 13, 200917 yr My boy GSP for the win. He's so underestimated at times. The only fight I actually got to see on T.V. was Lesnar/Mir and Brock just pounded him. I'm glad to see he put all that aggression to good use.

July 13, 200917 yr i'm not a big UFC fan and don't know much about it and it's athletes but i'm just wondering why everyone hates lesner After winning, he flipped the bird to the fans, went up to Mir and talked trash in his face (he was bleeding a lot, broken nose), and during the interview he said such classic lines as "I'm gonna go home and drink a COORS Light, because Budweiser won't pay me nothing" as Budweiser is a main sponser for the event UFC 100, didn't go down well with Dana White. He also said at the end of the interview that he will go home, and hey, "I might get on top of my wife" Some people found it offensive, but I love Lesnar. He is taking the same role in UFC that Mayweather has decided to take in boxing, being a villian gets you big events, he's making his way in UFC. Every sport needs a villian, and Lesnar fits it perfectly. That really isn't him, everybody knows Lesnar usually isn't a trash talker and just goes out and fights, but hisi emotions got the best of him and his WWE ways really did get back to him. And as stated, Fedor vs Lesnar would be the biggest fight UFC has ever seen imo.
July 13, 200917 yr There's also a lot of backlash due to the fact he's awfully green in the world of MMA and is getting big push from Dana White because he is a big name. He had all of 2 fights in the UFC before his title shot and he lost one of those fights to Mir.
