If there's one minor annoyance, it's the incessant use of the phrase "all of the sudden," probably an average of 8 to 10 times per broadcast. EVERYTHING happens all of the sudden to hear them tell it, especially Tommy. I imagine that he lives in a constant state of surprise. Tommy could be talking about glaciation and somehow an "all of the sudden" would slip in there. :lol Other than that, I think they're great individually and great as a team and would be sorry to see either of them go elsewhere.
August 6, 200917 yr I think Tommy for all his rants, must be a pretty nice guy to be around. He had great chemistry with lenny also. But Rich definitely knows his better than Lenny ever did, he knows what sets him off, which is hilarious.
August 6, 200917 yr he [Rich] knows what sets him [Tommy] off I think the "button-pushing" is largely intentional and at least semi-scripted. It provides a great cover for them to editorialize regarding stuff which they both already know they feel strongly about without being too obvious about getting their two cents worth out on the table. I like both the content and the subtle subterfuge.

Nolasco will be dominating for 5 innings, then throw 3 straight balls and Rich blurts out "all of the sudden Ricky can't find the plate..."
August 6, 200917 yr I bet Tommy is in an uber-bad mood after this awful series and the LONG bus ride to Philly. They were complaining about that the entire series. I just can't wait to get back home.
