The announcers, not so much.

 

It seems like we have said this for the last 3 seasons. I want a new playoff system where the worst playoff record has to play a one game playoff. (I don't really want this.)

Twin Cities stations are doing locker room interviews....a lot of booze flowing...beer and bubbly. I hope the champaign is mostly being showered. The Twins/Yankees are scheduled to play at 6:07 pm EDT tomorrow. Late flight to N.Y. overnight....

It's been cold(40's) and rainy most of the day up here in Minny. If they were playing outside...it would have been miserable. Tomorrow's forecast should be better: partly sunny 60....

I never learn from my mistakes. After 9 innings (after 1am) I moved through from my living room to watch the rest in bed and what do you know, I started to fall asleep after 11 innings, saw brief glimpses of the top of the 12th, missed the bottom of the inning and woke up a bit later on not knowing what had happened.

 

This always happens. DAMN

When TBS picks up Don Orsillo they will be great. DO is a great announcer.

Get over yourself. I didn't even know it was Ron Darling until afterwards when I looked it up. It's not really a stretch to say that the team was terrible.

 

The play-by-play guy was horrendous too.

"Line Drive! Base hit! It's caught! Runner is tagging! The Throw is off-line! He's out at the plate!"

 

 

I'd rather listen to them than I would Buck and McCarver, though.
