Posted November 2, 200915 yr Still no respect for TCU. Oh well, at least with two losses USC is out of the picture for good now. One more win would clinch the Pac-10 for Oregon. They belong as the top one-loss team. :mischief It seems like this is the first time that all unbeatens, when there are three or more at the same time this late, are actually at the top of the BCS poll. 1) Florida, 8-0 2) Texas, 8-0 3) Alabama, 8-0 4) Iowa, 9-0 5) Cincinnati, 8-0 6) TCU, 8-0 7) Boise State, 8-0 8) Oregon, 7-1 9) LSU, 7-1 10) Georgia Tech, 8-1 11) Penn State, 8-1 12) USC, 6-2 13) Pittsburgh, 7-1 14) Utah, 7-1 15) Houston, 7-1 16) Ohio State, 7-2 17) Miami, 6-2 18) Arizona, 5-2 19) Oklahoma State, 6-2 20) California, 6-2 21) Wisconsin, 6-2 22) Notre Dame, 6-2 23) Virginia Tech, 5-3 24) Oklahoma, 5-3 25) USF, 6-2 Results for the Florida schools: #1 Florida (8-0) beat Georgia (4-4), 41-17 #19 Miami (6-2) beat Wake Forest (4-5), 28-27 USF (6-2) beat #21 West Virginia (6-2), 30-19 UCF (5-3) beat Marshall (5-4), 21-20 FSU (4-4) beat North Carolina State (3-5), 45-42 FAU (2-5) lost to Middle Tennessee State (5-3), 27-20 FIU (2-6) beat Louisiana-Lafayette (4-4), 20-17 (OT) Week 10 Schedule for Florida schools #1 Florida (8-0) vs. Vanderbilt (2-7), Saturday, November 2 @ 7:15pm #17 Miami (6-2) vs. Virginia (3-5), Saturday, November 2 @ Noon #25 USF (6-2) is idle UCF (5-3) @ #2 Texas (8-0), Saturday, November 2 @ Noon FSU (4-4) @ Clemson (5-3), Saturday, November 2 @ 7:45pm FAU (2-5) @ Alabama-Birmingham (3-5), Saturday, November 2 @ 2:00pm FIU (2-6) vs. Middle Tennessee State, Saturday, November 2 @ 4:30pm
November 3, 200915 yr If we beat Clemson, there is a real good chance that FSU can win out in the ACC. Now we would need BC to drop 2 out of 3 games to Virginia/North Carolina/Maryland, and I don't see that happening. If they only lost one, we would be tied but they hold the tiebreaker over us with a win. To get a second place finish after this kind of season would be a miracle, so I would gladly take that.
November 3, 200915 yr Author Florida at home vs. Vanderbilt. The only question there is how long Urban Meyer will run up the score. Is it possible to say the same of Miami at home vs. Virginia? Or Texas at home vs. UCF? :mischief FSU does have a tough road away to Clemson. The question is, are they really back? The boosters are not going to like losing five games this year. FAU with a good out-of-conference matchup. Can they kick one of UCF's conference rivals while it's down? FIU seems to be doing good with FAU's sloppy seconds. Last week it was La-La. This week, can they dispatch MTSU?
November 3, 200915 yr Didn't think that arizona win would help but they sure are helping out a lot and having a nice year. Good for mike stoops... always nice to see other hawkeyes do well, especially ones that are helping our bcs ranking!
November 7, 200915 yr Yeah....I know my Knights are probably going to get killed today, but man would an upset be soo sweet?
