December 17, 200916 yr Joe Frisaro of MLB.com reports that Josh Johnson's agent Scott Sosnick hasn't ruled his client eventually signing an extension with the Marlins. Talks reached an impasse last month, but after getting a one-year deal done with Ricky Nolasco on Thursday, Sosnick sounded optimistic about Johnson's future in Florida. "We're doing everything we can to try to bridge the gap, and get a deal done," said Sosnick. "And we're wanting to do something that will keep J.J. in Florida for the long term."
