7/20 Gamethread Marlins vs Rockies

Recommended Posts

Rockies (50-42) @ Marlins (45-47)

Jeff Francis (2-3) 5.14 ERA vs Nate Robertson 6-7, 5.10 ERA

(1-0, 2.25 ERA vs. FLA) (0-2, 8.74 ERA vs. COL)

Marlins Riding a 3 Game Winning Streak have got to shape up defensively as they are last in the NL in fielding percentage and 2nd to last in errors and they need to continue hitting like they did last night against Jimenez.

If we jump on Francis early work counts and prevent him from getting in a grove we have a great shot at making it 4 in a row.

What to Watch For: Left Handed Pitcher Nate Robertson is getting the start tonight which could benefit the Marlins with all of the forcefully put Left Handed Bats in the Rockies Lineup. If he gives a solid 6 IP allowing 3 Runs or less we have a great shot in winning tonight.

Marlins: Coghlan not expected to go on disabled list

Chris Coghlan, who is dealing with a sore lower back, will not need to go on the disabled list. The outfielder will come to the ballpark early on Tuesday, and if all goes well he could be back in the lineup. Coghlan hurt himself diving to make a catch against the Nationals on Friday night.

Let's Keeping on Winning!

While last night was great and all, I say save the drama and just score 10 runs! We need a laugher now-and-then

It was certainly a wild ride at the stadium. I just wish there would be some way to hear Hutton and Waltz while at the game. It would have been SO cool

True, that sucks that you can't hear them. They should have that for the new stadium! You plug in headphones into the seats (kinda like in an airplane) and you can hear Tommy and Rich announce! It must've been cool to watch the game there though because it was definitely a crazy game. Tommy was using his psychic abilities last night. He kinda called both Stanton and Murphy's home runs before they happened. Let's hope for another good game tonight!
