NFL Division Championships

Featured Replies

So which of these teams is most likely to win their division and finish strong.

The Packers and Bengals have the easiest remaining schedules.

But since the Vikings are falling quickly I think my Pack takes it. But I most definitely could be wrong...

Denver and Miami just aren't that good, and San Francisco is too inconsistent, so none of those 3 are going to win their divisions. Cincinnati is hot, and in a horrendous division, so I think they are going to win the AFC North. Minnesota is being exposed as the dogs they are, and Nick Barnett has helped to (somewhat) stabilize the packers d, and they are running all over everybody, so expect the packers to win the NFC North. Philadelphia is the Ohio State of the NFL right now, just finding ways to win, and with Dallas's brutal 2nd half schedule, expect the Cowboys to take a wild card and the Eagles to take the NFC East Crown. If I have to pick one team though, I will go with Cincinnati, just because Dallas is still a good team, and Minnesota could get hot.

It's all about the Who Dey!

Seriously though, the ball is in their court. In fact, technically, Baltimore is the 2nd place team, not the Bengals. Bengals beat them and have the better in-division record.

3 weeks from now, we'll know for sure. At San Diego, At Pittsburgh, At Baltimore. If they take at least 2 out of 3, especially the Baltimore game, it'll be time for me to pool resources for January.

The Rams are the only team above .500 left on their schedule.

We shall see.

Yeah the Bengals have a rediculously easy schedule left.

As do the Packers...

vs. San Francisco

at. Detroit (Thanksgiving)

vs. Chicago

at. San Diego

at. Oakland

vs. Denver

I think that Nick Barnett is so far played as one of the 5 best Linebackers in the NFL, he leads the NFC in tackles at 105.

Here's the NFL Defensive Rookie (so far he's been that) of the Years stats...

105 tackles

3 INT's

2 Sacks (should be 3)

2 Fumble Recoveries

4 Forced Fumbles

9 Passes Defensed

All of which are in the Top 10 in the NFL for his position. Diggs and Navies are also doing well.

But one sort of disconcerting thing here is Green Bay has allowed less points each week since the Kansas City debacle, but theres a catch...

40 (KC)

34 (STL)

27 (MIN)

17 (PHI)

13 (TB)

But the offenses have gradually gotten less and less talented as they've progressed. Frisco presents a problem.

The Eagles are definitely the Ohio State of the NFL. They just win some how.

I hope the Bengals keep it going.

Miami and Denver have NO CHANCE of winning their divisions.

The Dolphins' schedule is too difficult for us to win the division. New England is already up three games on us. To make things worse, the Dolphins just can't seem to score. With our offense crippled, I can't see how we are going to beat Dallas next weekend. I say that of these teams, Green Bay has the best chance of winning their division. Cincinnati has a good chance as well, which disturbs me to no end.

I can't believe that 4 people have voted for Miami in this poll. New England isn't going anywhere, and Miami has NO OFFENSE at least right now.

miami's O line has been horrible!-they have to fix that-i dont think they have a shot at winning thier division.

its to late for cinn. to come back.

Ummmm ok......

Cincinnati is tied for 1st place, and holds the tiebreaker over the team they are tied with.

dude they are tied for 1st place. the bad start dont mean s*** now

Well because McNabb has started throwing like the QB that he can be...I would say the Iggles would finish the strongest.....but of course as soon as they get into the playoffs...all bets are off.

Bungles! Bungles! Kind of funny how a team I have been rooting for for years on pity is now doing arguably better than my hometown team.

Did anyone else see/hear Priest Holmes ripping the Bengals? Talking about how he still has no respect for the organization, cause they've "never" won.

:boo-woo

He actually said that losing to the Bengals is a bigger disappointment than losing the Super Bowl would be.

I'm kinda proud of that actually.

one of the highlights of the season were the Raiders losing to the Bengals, along with them losing to the Jets, Bears, and Lions, as well as the Niners 4 blowout wins
