Tuesday morning Vikings DE (and former Dolphin) Kenny Mixon was arrested for DUI (drunk driving) and was put into the Hennepin County Jail for the night because he hadn't enough money to post bail,

 

so when a die hard Vikings fan heard this on the Radio (AM 1130 KFAN, Minneapolis) he went to the Hennepin County Jail and went in front of Mixon's cell and said

 

"We need you! I'm getting you out of here!"

 

So the Fan posted bail for Mixon and Mixon is now free again.

 

Thats funnier then Phil Bengston (successor to Lombardi) and Gerry Burns (Vikings Coach from 86-91) posting bail for their players.

 

Oh my god its funnier then hell. :lol :lol :lol :lol :lol :lol

im failing to see the humor....DUI? is that whats funny? B/c I have friends that have gotten em...and it can really f*ck you over. Or is it that a fan posted bail for him...because I find that as a pretty nice thing to do. What a guy!

DUIs are also not funny, because it is never funny when there are drunk people driving.

Kenny Mixon's DUI wasn't the funny part.

 

I found it funny that the fan bailed him out because he believes that the Vikings need him to be successful.

 

DUI's are quite obviously not funny.

 

Also to note that Mixon didn't even have a high enough blood acohol level to be legally drunk in the state of Minnesota.

 

He was pulled over for a busted tailight and the police officer smeled beer on his breath.

that fan is a badass

I dont think it would've made a difference if the fan posted the bail or not.

 

It's not like a pro NFL football player isnt loaded enough to bail him out.

 

i find the humor in that part.
