pierre hit the ball hard the opposite way but right at burell for the 3rd out. half way through the 6th this one is tied at 1. the ump was very generous with Mercado giving him that outside corner. this guy had given up at least 1 run in every game he's pitched and we managed to only score 1 run with the bases loaded and no outs, that's got to be embarrasing.
