Twins first to clinch Playoff Spot, take AL Central

Featured Replies

First team in, and probably the first team out. They're solid but I don't think they have what it takes to get past the Rays or Yankees. But anything can happen, that what's great about the postseason. Either way, congrats to them on the division crown.

Bringing postseason action to Target Field in their 1st year there, hopefully we can do the same in 2012

My thoughts exactly. I have very high hopes for the 2012 season if we can keep the core of the team together until then, which we should be able to.

I love the Twins, they are my favorite AL team along with the Red Sox and it's great seeing a team with such good talent both young and veterans get into the playoffs.

Same. I think it's something Loria will genuinely shoot for.

Twins now also have the best record in the American League, 1/2 games over the Yankees.
