Ok, so update something already.

Volstad getting lit up right now. 4 runs off 2 HR and 6 hits in 1.2 innings.

MLB TV is airing the cards radio broadcast. They actually called chris volstad a veteran lol.

Uh oh. Cogs just left the game due to an apparant injury. The cardinals announcers said looks like he pulled or stretched something

edit: I think i misheard. Maybe they were talking about Carpenter since his name is Chris as well. Cogs is fine! please disregard!!!

Looks like Volstad struggled today. 6 hits (including 2 HRs) and 4 runs in 2 innings. Two scoreless turned in by Villanueva though. Always good to see him do well considering I hung out with him a few times.

Not a good day offensively either. Thurston with our only XBH. Dominguez was the only (potential) starter to get on base. Only run scored on a WP.

I tuned in late to see Volstad getting ripped. Anyone know anything about Villanueva?

Coral Springs native who had a good minors career. Big guy, pretty hefty. May have long relief potential. Some say he doesn't have big league stuff, though.
