June 13, 201115 yr Author gotta get Hanley back & get him right. the guy can carry an offense. I don't think we need someone to carry to offense as much as we need someone to be the catalyst. Hanley of course can do that as well.
June 14, 201115 yr I think our main issue is Coghlan leading off. There's not a single main issue. There are several issues. Some injury related (JJ and Hanley) but most production related. Buck, Infante, Hanley (when healthy), Coghlan, Vasquez, Volstad and the bench have all played poorly. Volstads last 2 starts were quality starts and has not played poorly. I think bench help is on the way, in a round-about method. Ozzy will be sent down to make room for Hanley. Cousins gets sent down to make room for a minor league pitcher to pitch one of the DH games. Then someone, probably Peterson, gets called up after that game.
