Out of the Past
Nolasco is owed $20.5M for '12 and '13. I see him as a league average starter and I don't think that's worth $10.25M per year. He only has one season with a WAR above 1.4. Hanley is owed $46.5M for '12, '13 and '14. If in those seasons he OPSes about .900 and plays his poor to very poor defense he'll probably be about a 5.0 to 5.5 WAR guy and I wonder if that's worth $15.5M per year. SilverBullet
Its way too soon to be questioning people's contracts. Longterm contracts are long term, this losing streak, while being horrendous, is still a short term thing.
Anonymous
Stop. Hanley Ramirez is definitely worth his contract. Nolasco on the other hand, might not be due to his inconsistency.

Agreed, Hanley is, Nolasco isn't, everyone is still waiting for Nolasco to be consistent cuz when he's good he's pretty damn good. However him being consistent is somthing that may never happen. He needs to be a #4/5 starter till then if you want a playoff worthy team.
