August 27, 201113 yr the Mantis returns! I'm glad we picked up Buck. aside from throwing people out, he's proved to be really durable. especially in the context of the other injuries on the starting lineup.
August 27, 201113 yr New closer next year will be cishek. I sure hope not. Just go out and make a trade for a real closer. One that can last a full season.

I think he could be a pretty good closer.  He doesn't have the typical closer "stuff or mentality" but I think he would also be a decent option. In my opinion, one of the most important things about a closer is an ability to throw strikes. Cishek is pretty good with that. But Mujica is amazing. But I'd rather have Mujica in a set up role and get a better closer. I think Cishek, if he develops a little more over the offseason, could definitely be a closer or at least in the back end of our bullpen. The only thing that sucks is Leo's trade value plummeted since the AS break :/ So I almost think we should keep him and just hope for a better next year. Because he is better than a 4+ ERA.

It's just one of the holes we need to fill. I am quite sure there will be somebody else that can be the board's "reason" why we lose some games. Or for not making the playoffs.
