November 30, 200322 yr AJ should be a good boy and take the pay cut. He didnt play really at all last year and got paid. And got to watch a World Series team up close. I think he is itching to come back and will take whatever he can get - within reason. It is going to be awesome when he is back pitching for this team again. No team in baseball is making an acquisition like we are with Burnett - no one except maybe the Red Sox with Schilling.

November 30, 200322 yr He doesnt Deserve abritration this season. He pitched a little bit coming of surgery. BUT we should Keep him on the Marlins. With Burnett, Beckett, and Penny our rotation will be very solid.
November 30, 200322 yr I remember how publicaly pissed off AJ was last year when the marlins wouldn't budge on their arbitration offer, and he didn't get the extra couple hundred thousand he deserved. I wonder how he feels about this.

November 30, 200322 yr for how little AJ pitched last year and how little he'll probably end up pitching this year, i'd have to agree that a pay cut is warranted. the only thing holding us back is the guilt trip he publicly tries to put on the organization for being responsible for his injury.
