It's not their fault that Cuba is run by communist monsters. You know that will indeed happen. I can't root for Team Cuba under that regime, that team doesn't represent me or my beliefs. It's like many South Africans who never rooted for their teams in international competition because they were used for political propaganda by the Apartheid regime...

Because Fidel loves baseball and has always associated the team with himself, many people see it as Fidel's team. It is the Dictator's team indeed...even the "team physician" is the Dictator's son and is widely known that the Dictator's was calling the shots from Havana in 2006 and 2009 from a cellphone...
August 20, 201214 yr I wouldn't egg anyone or boo someone who owns a Team Cuba jersey or hat...that's just playing in the hands of what the regime preaches: hate for people who don't think like you. If you want to root for Team Cuba is fine, who cares, we live in a free country, that's why we ran out of there... And btw, not only old Cubans think like me, I think it all has to do with what you suffer in the island than anything...

My car got egged when I was parked at Winn Dixie.... the security guard smiled when I asked WTF he was doing when it happened. Go Figure. I wonder if he was part of these boards. Happened to me a few weeks ago at Best Buy. Was parked fine but some people are just assholes. I had no idea there were Jewish Cubans. Lol yes, there are Jewish Cubans. They're called Jubans.
