Dr Beinfest
It almost seems too ideal to have it open on the outdoor classic game... New Years Day.
Piazza31
f***ing Bettman. He is the singular reason why this collegiate hockey player doesn't really bother to follow the league anymore. I used to be heavily into it the year CAL-TB went to the finals. Since the lockout- I haven't even taken free tickets to a game on the glass. Using excuses like, parking is not worth or the gas spent isn't worth it. Yes, i've gone with teammates to sit in the Eastern Financial District (Upper deck with all you can eat and drink, beer included) but why put the effort into following it fully if the owners couldn't care less to keep the product on the ice. For what it's worth, I think last year was evidence that new ownership here in S. Florida does care about the product on the ice. But yeah, I know exactly what you're saying. I was referencing the owners as a whole, all 30 of them. The Panthers owners hired the right man in Tallon, and Yormark (While Sometimes Aloof) has been a nice enough guy through twitter and mail to the fans. Dr Beinfest
I've had first hand experience with Yormark. He's a douche. But he's good at his job, so for what that's worth, yeah.

Where did you meet him? PM me if you want.
Dr Beinfest
Eh, there isn't much to say. It was actually via email, but basically he told me to shut up and stop bothering him without actually using those words.

Dr Beinfest
It's from about 5 or 6 years ago (yeah, he said it to a 14/15 year old kid).
Piazza31
It's from about 5 or 6 years ago (yeah, he said it to a 14/15 year old kid). LOL. Curious, any one know where the panthers players are practicing and who's there? I figured it would be cool to try to meet Theodore, Clemmenson and I heard Luongo may be there too. Dr Beinfest
There's actually a lot of players going day in and day out. Not just Panthers/Luongo, either. A bunch of the locked out NHL players came down here and are scrimmaging every so often, forgot who I read. I know guys like Dvorak are still doing it, too.
