October 28, 201213 yr I don't consider that little. Jeremy Lamb was a lottery pick. They probably just obtained two or three lottery picks. And Kevin Martin will be a really nice one year rental. If they didn't want to pay him the max value, they got decent value.

The Rockets traded point guard Kyle Lowry to Toronto for a lottery-protected first-round pick, one of Oklahoma City's acquisitions on Saturday night. The other first-round pick was acquired by Houston when it traded Jordan Hill to the Los Angeles Lakers last March. The second-round pick came to the Rockets in a deal that sent guard Courtney Lee to Boston. October 28, 201213 yr Houston Won this deal. IDK why OKC did this, but now, in my opinion, it will be a LAL-MIA Finals. That sucks b/c LAL and MIA are my two favorite teams.

Martin is cheaper and not far removed from being the man in Sac-Town, and Lamb was a lottery pick this year. Harden seems to have wanted a max deal. I'm not sure if OKC could have afforded to give it to him. It's definitely not a trade that makes them better. At least not until we see what Lamb can do.
October 29, 201213 yr My point was that they were an NBA Championship team, and they should be adding in order to win it. The minute you start dividing up players into broken down talent, especially in basketball, your team starts to fall to sh*t.
November 5, 201213 yr I think OKC f***ed with their battle tested championship cores chemistry. The rental they got is a good return - but why the two draft picks? I wonder who they're interested in.
