4/15 Post Game

It was brutal watching the games leading up to this game. Now, it's just laughable. It's ridiculous. My friend works for the team and is offering to give me dugout seats at $5 a pop for mon-wed games, and 4 for $25 for Saturday games. All lower level seats.

The sad thing is that I don't even want to spend that much to be tortured.

Can your friend pass that deal along to some board members?! :)

Shoot me a PM, I can arrange that.

How is he at an increased risk for injury? He was gonna pitch every fifth day in Jacksonville, how is that any different than every fifth day in Miami?

Exactly, he went from pitching for one AA team to pitching for another AA team. The only difference is that the second AA team plays in a Major League ballpark against professional baseball teams.

True. But I can imagine he might expend himself more and the possibility of over pitching (thus leading to injury) is higher while in the mlb versus milb.

But the 2018 versus 2019 is absolutely ridiculous.

I also thought the years thing happened in June, not April. Since when did calling someone up mid-April give you an extra year on their contract? I swore that was June and why we waited in 2010 until June for Stanton.

Unless this and "Super Two" are completely different.

I've come to the realization that you might be better off just expecting a hard thrower missing a year with the dreaded you know what surgery. Hopefully we won't have to worry about that.
