Posted June 21, 201311 yr Oh yeah, Koehler took a no-hitter into the 6th Heat won. also nolasco said he'd like to be in San Francisco, what do we want from them beyond the obvious pitcher blackburn.
June 21, 201311 yr I would do Nolasco/Webb/Dunn for RHP-Martin Agosta, RHP-Stephen Johnson, LHP-Josh Osich, LHP,-Aldaberto Mejia, C Andrew Susac, and OF Shiloh McCall. Those are all solid but unspectacular prospects and for the most part safe. Johnson and Osich both project as high power relievers. Mejia is very young. Susac is an Austin Barnes type player. Agosta is obliterating the South Atlantic League but he is 22 years old. McCall is young and toolsy but has good plate discipline. It would be a solid deal for both parties. San Francisco's system isnt overly strong.
June 21, 201311 yr Author What's wrong with Clayton Blackburn? He has the best numbers in the system by a lot.
June 21, 201311 yr I doubt you would get a Blackburn type player for a Nolasco package. You will get young raw players and older prospects with equal parts upside and question marks.

You never know what his value is until you dangle him. The Dodgers/Yanks/ORIOLES could be desperate enough to start the bidding high...
June 21, 201311 yr Yeah the SP market is going to be super thin this year. If Nolasco has a couple more good starts, we might actually get a real prospect.
June 21, 201311 yr Nolasco and LoMo for Chris Davis. Git'r'dun! (Yes, I know this would never happen lol)
June 21, 201311 yr Yeah the SP market is going to be super thin this year. If Nolasco has a couple more good starts, we might actually get a real prospect. Very thin it looks like. I wouldn't be surprised if we got an "A" prospect for Nolasco, and he's not hurting his value with outings like he had against the Cards. When you can shut down the best lineup in baseball, you're going to draw some attention.
June 21, 201311 yr Let's see how he does against San Fran. Isn't that where he's his best? Edit: only 4 starts there, but stellar #s. 31 IP, .87 ERA, .81 whip, 24 ks
