August 1, 201311 yr Nicolino really solid at Jax last night - 6 ip, 4 h, 0 r, 0 bb, 6 k good to see him get his first win after 2 ugly outings. Heaney may make his first AA start tonight, waiting to hear for sure on that... if so I shall be in attendance.
August 1, 201311 yr Author Nicolino really solid at Jax last night - 6 ip, 4 h, 0 r, 0 bb, 6 k good to see him get his first win after 2 ugly outings. Heaney may make his first AA start tonight, waiting to hear for sure on that... if so I shall be in attendance. Per a tweet I asked him and he said he is on the hill tonight for Jacksonville
August 1, 201311 yr I heard or read days ago that tonight (being Thurs) was supposed to be his first start, but the Jacksonville website hasn't confirmed him yet so don't blame anyone for double checking. I see the tweet now though, I'll listen in to the start like I've been doing with him.
August 1, 201311 yr Excited to see how Heaney does. If he can dominate Jax like he did Jupiter, he could earn himself a spot in the rotation with a strong Spring '14...
August 1, 201311 yr Does Keys ever NOT walk? Does Keys ever strikeout? Better question.Haha. True. I know its only A, but you have to wonder what his future with the team is. He has no power but the guy does nothing but get on base. From what I whear his defense is pretty damn good too.
