  1. when ma nakka Bohn coming up?
  2. Any idea if Justin Twine is in the lineup today? He's leading off today. 1-1 with a SB and run scored so far.
  3. Experience. Veteran. World Series. Catcher. Ring. Fundamentals. International.
  4. Redmond has very yellow teeth and an eggplant head. He doesn't look like a good manager... certainly doesn't make good decisions like one.
  5. Cool to see Anderson start off hot. Now, is Kolek debuting tonight in the GCL? He's pitching on the 20th against the Cardinals I assume.
  6. Brian Anderson 2 G 2/2/5/0 (1 CS) Dis nakka great
  7. Chad Wallach is a ******* beast.
  8. Could be our Mike Trout. You never know. This is a Stanton-like pick.
  9. Kolek has no polish as a pitcher, even less so than Fernandez at Alonso. And, if we're drafting a pitcher with virtually no polish, but crazy upside, you want to be extremely careful with his development. I think Kolek should not see the majors until at least 2017 or 2018.
  10. I think Realmuto should be everyday catcher from now
  11. I like the way Miami almost came back at the very least. Very different team from last season indeed.
  12. And he is -9 in UZR What is your point? Most def metrics shows he's about average.
  13. Fangrahps has him a -.6 ...which again, shows he isn't terrible. Even with the -0.6 UZR over 64 games, that is still about average.
  14. They also have him with a drs of 4... which is slightly above average. ...which again, shows he isn't terrible.
  15. He is below replacement defenisvely according to WAR. Over 214 games his UZR is -2.9, which isn't terrible. Hanley was a good example of terrible at SS. His dWAR this is season is 0.7, which is 3rd highest on the team so far this season (Stanton, Ozuna).
  16. Let's not pretend that Dietrich in the lineup would make a noticeable difference for Miami.
  17. And Hechavarria is bad defensively too. i wouldn't say Hechs defense is necessarily bad-- just average at best.
  18. Wallach and Munoz are ******* beasts. Hopefully Moran turns it around. He looks encouraging right now. Slugging a .587 in his last 10 games. Marisnick is good.
  19. Wallach and Munoz are looking like a beast for Greensboro.
  20. Zach cox is the next great hitter.
  21. Also, I think Stanton should be on this list. He is putting up MVP type numbers (1.021 OPS, 3.7 WAR) and providing above average D in RF. That is meeting expectations for a healthy Stanton. If anything, the biggest surprise involving Stanton is his ability to stay healthy this season, not missing any games. Also, he has improved his plate discipline a bit, and looks more relaxed with his stance out there. He hasn't been as streaky a hitter as he was in the past, but the numbers per se, aren't really a surprise other than the K rate.
  22. I was reading a sun sentinel writeup on kolek and was blown away when i saw this: "In his senior season, Kolek struck out 126 in 60 1/3 innings with only eight walks while compiling a 5-2 record with a 0.35 ERA." http://touch.sun-sentinel.com/#section/-1/article/p2p-80422081/ Dylan Bundy allowed 20 hits, 158 Ks and 4 walks in 71 innings WITH A 0.30 ERA his senior year in HS.
