June 10, 201412 yr Wallach and Munoz are ******* beasts. Hopefully Moran turns it around. He looks encouraging right now. Slugging a .587 in his last 10 games. Marisnick is good.

Really, everyone with a poor start has turned it around. Marisnick, Moran, Cox, Jensen, Benson, maybe some others I'm missing. First time that I can remember in a long while Double-A and Triple-A are winning teams. Cox is on an unreal tear. Brought his slash lines up to .301/.373/.531/.904 after this game. For comparison, Marisnick's OPS is over .200 points lower at .702, Jensen is at .814, and Canha is .836. Wow.
June 11, 201412 yr Did I just see that Furcal played in Jax Monday, then Jupiter today? Setback, or just trying to get in as many games as possible?
June 11, 201412 yr Did I just see that Furcal played in Jax Monday, then Jupiter today? Setback, or just trying to get in as many games as possible? Hmm. Weird. I heard he's coming up on Friday. Guess they want Dietrich getting the playing time in New Orleans [he homered again tonight, BTW].

He's been very meh up until this year, and he provides nothing over McGehee right now. He isn't even platoonable since McGehee is great against righties already and sucks against lefties, like Cox.
June 11, 201412 yr Cox is too late with this tear. If this happened to start LAST season I guarantee you the front office would've given him a shot over the zero that was Placido Polanco by June. Unfortunately for him McGehee has been doing well and the bench is actually productive this year, so there really isn't any space for him at the major league level. It's still encouraging to see him finally hit for even a little power. Now if he can sustain that through the entire season he could MAYBE get a September call up, although more likely he'd get a chance to earn a bench spot to start 2015.
