Yup, sure enough Marlins wake up the hornet's nest and the Giants win after being swept in 4 games to another lowly team. We pretty much suck.

 

 

Looking at the Giants series though. Last nights game was a very favorable matchup for them. Tonight favors us and tomorrow is sort of a wash. However losing yesterday's game wasn't surprising.

how does tonight favor us? Stanton swings at everything and ozuna the one game wonder looked awful last night. JT sucks and Gordon is not hitting. Bour is overrated and hechavarria is spotty. looks like I'm left with yelich and he by himself wont beat the giants.

We beat Scherzer. Yeah we have troubles but for two generally struggling teams when the pitching matchup leans toward us so much, we're the favorite tonight. Don't be skewed by what happened last night.

 

 

Oh and wanted to throw this out there... last night on the broadcast and this morning reading stuff on MLB.com you hear things like "the Giants offense finally figured it out" or they came to life or whatever. That's so skewed... If I can't beat a video game on the regular difficulty and I turn the difficulty down to the easiest setting and then beat it big time, I didn't "figure it out" I just beat it on the easiest setting. So the Giants offense scoring runs off an ineffective Cosart doesn't mean they've "figured it out." If I can't climb a tree, but I jump over a small plant, I didn't learn how to climb a tree. Ok I think you get it.

judging by beating scherzer, these are my thoughts. if you told me we beat him with mathis and not Stanton or Gordon in the lineup, I would tell you that our record is probably 11-4.
